The DC-1 is a car black box video recorder. It records video and audio on a constant loop and stores it on a standard SD memory card. This camera is fitted with a 3D sensor which measures G-force and will detect an impact. In the event of a collision, harsh braking or acceleration the DC-1 will save a 20 second clip (10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the incident) and these "event" clips do not get overwritten.

The Roadhawk DC-1 vehicle drive recorder captures video, audio (can be disabled) G-Force and GPS data whilst you are driving. Using the supplied software you can play back the video files and see the exact vehicle speed, direction and position overlayed on to Google Maps.

Everything you need is supplied in the box and fitting this camera to your car is as easy as most portable Sat Nav devices. Simply mount the camera on your windscreen facing forwards and plug it in to your cigar lighter socket.
A 5m power cable and cable clips are supplied so you can make a nice, tidy install with the cable routed around the screen - out of view.

The 4gb SD Card supplied with the DC-1 will hold around 6 hours of video on a loop. You can expand this up to 32gb for a total of 48 hours record time.

This is our new RoadHawk RH-2 black box vehicle camera recording system. A box smaller than the average SatNav that sits on your windscreen and constantly loop records video, audio and speed information.

The RH-2 is based on the already very popular RH-1 and uses the same internal electronics, GPS and shock sensors. It is a two channel video recorder so it has both forward facing and inward facing cameras with wide angled lenses giving up to 340° all round surveillance.

The inward facing camera is supplied with a removeable IR light bar to capture clear vivid images even at night making it the ideal choice for public transport or taxis. A wired EMERGENCY remote controller is supplied. When the user pushes the button the RH-2 will store 3 minutes before and 1 minute after the event on the card and not overwrite it.

Built-in G-Force sensors continually monitor for impacts at which point 3 minutes before and 1 minute after are stored on the SD memory card as an event that can later be used as evidence to support a claim.

The RH-2 is supplied with viewing software compatible with all versions of Windows (not MAC). The software reads the encrypted files from the SD card of the RH-2 and pulls data from Google Earth giving a realtime display of the vehcles speed and position.

Another useful function of the RH-2 is the ability to assign a name of the vehicle, driver or the vehicle registration mark to each unit. This then is watermarked into the video making it much easier for large fleets looking to keep track of multiple vehicles.

Time and date is synchronised by GPS and the configuration has been simplified. Its plug and play nature allows it to be installed and in use in less than 5 minutes.

Each system is supplied with a 2gb Card (upgradeable to 16gb) which will hold around 90mins of video and data on a loop. When the card is full the unit starts to erase and overwrite the earliest data. Events such as SHOCK or EMERGENCY button presses will not be overwritten.

A clear and concise manual with pictures to aid installation and operation is included as is a CD-ROM with the operating software and manual in PDF format. The software can be freely distributed and installed on an unlimited number of PC computers.

BlackVue cameras have a video out, so you can attach them to a monitor to see the image from the camera, one example is to connect the rear camera to a small monitor and use it as a rear view/reversing camera.

Fitting can be as simple as plugging it into a power socket or use our hardwire kit for the parking mode to benefit

When you remove the SD Card and plug it into the computer you can then simply analyse how the accident was occurred with the Road Eye software. This software will allow you to watch back on the event, collecting vital inforamtion about your speed and location. A built in Google Map will show you the journey on the road while on playback and will allow you to find your exact location
