Addressable Fire Alarm Systems

The Analogue Addressable Fire Alarm System is a much more advanced system in terms of both the devices on the system and the control panel itself. This type of system is generally used in larger premise such as large schools, offices, hospitals, large factories.

Each device on a system is given an address and the control panel is told where that address is so that in the event of a fire the control panel not only displays the fire zone but also narrows the origin of fire down to a room/cupboard, etc and therefore fires are found much quicker by the occupiers and indeed the fire brigade.

The devices, such as a smoke detector are also more advanced than their conventional counterparts as they do not activate as soon as smoke passes into them, but activate on a more of a sliding scale and need more smoke to set them off, this gives great advantages in reducing the number of false alarms.

Our range of Analogue Addressable Fire Alarm System products include:-

Hochiki ALG-EN(BLK)Photo-Electric Sensor (Black)

Model ACA-E is a Multi-Sensor, which is fully compatible with Hochiki's ESP Analogue Addressable Protocol, and incorporates a thermal element and High Performance Chamber technology.

The ACA-E has three modes, which are controlled from the Control Panel, allowing either the optical element or thermal element or both elements to be active in making the fire decision. The sensor polling LED's can also be controlled via the Control Panel. The ACA-E smoke chamber can easily be removed or replaced for maintenance and the sensor can be locked onto its base to discourage tampering.

Hochiki ACB-E Analogue Combined Heat Sensor

Model ACB-E is a Multi-Heat Sensor, which is fully compatible with Hochiki's ESP Analogue Addressable Protocol.

The ACB-E incorporates a Variable Temperature heat element and a Rate Of Rise heat element, both of which are controlled from the Control Panel, allowing either thermal element or both elements simultaneously to be active in making the fire decision. The sensor polling LED's can also be controlled via the Control Panel (pulsingnon-pulsing).

Hochiki Waterproof Analogue Combined Heat Sensor

Model ACB-EW is a Waterproof Multi-Heat Sensor, which is fully compatible with Hochiki's ESP Analogue Addressable Protocol.

The ACB-EW incorporates a variable Fixed Temperature heat element and a Rate Of Rise heat element, both of which are controlled from the Control Panel, allowing either thermal element or both elements simultaneously to be active in making the fire decision. The sensor polling LED's can also be controlled via the Control Panel (pulsingnon-pulsing). Rated to IP67, the ACB-EW can be used externally and is supplied with its own fixing base which is used to fix the sensor. Flying leads from the sensor connect directly to the loop via waterproof connectors
